What rewards can you earn?
There are lots of rewards on offer for tracking your active and sustainable travel with the BetterPoints app.
Sign Up and Get Started
Earn 250 points just for downloading the app and taking our short baseline survey. This will unlock your rewards.
Run, Ride, Walk or Wheel
Earn 1 point per minute that you run, ride, walk or wheel, up to 40 minutes every day.
Take the bus or train
Earn 10 points for every bus or train journey you make over a quarter of a mile, up to four journeys per day.
Monthly Prize Draw
Every journey you make will also earn you a BetterTicket, which is a prize draw entry for our Monthly Prize of 10,000 BetterPoints (£10)! Turn on auto-tracking to make sure all your journeys are rewarded with points and prize draw entries. Tracking data is anonymised, aggregated and only ever used to improve infrastructure, support and planning for better travel in East Dunbartonshire. No personally identifiable information is ever shared and by using auto-tracking you'll be helping to make Surrey cleaner, greener and better for everyone!
Leave the Car Star Prize
Every month we'll invite all participants to share their travel story. The best will be rewarded with 25,000 BetterPoints and shared in the app and on social media.
The BetterPoints you earn can be traded in for vouchers, donated to charity or spent online.
